The new Ingersoll Rand 2135Ti Max was introduced to the press at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in late August. The new ½-in. drive impact tool delivers maximum power of 780 ft. -lbs. of reverse torque and 1100 ft.-lbs. of nut-busting torque-an increase of more than 10% over the model it replaces. And it still weighs only 3.95 lbs.
IR engineers have reworked the popular Impactool to provide maximum control utilizing a feather-touch trigger and patented power regulator. The familiar titanium housing is very much in evidence, along with one-hand forward/reverse controls, which allows technicians to conveniently switch to different tasks and applications.
The 2135Ti Max comes with a twoyear warranty. In addition, a unique advantage is that the repair parts from the old model can be used in the new tool.
